Keen Teammate Needed for November Race
I (Chris Jones) have a co-ed team entered for the Raid the Hammer (14 November, 2010; Hamilton, Ontario), but I’m still looking for a third teammate. Raid the Hammer is a challenging, mostly off-road, 25-km orienteering race. My present teammate, Jessica, and I, are both capable runners, but we’re going in this race mostly for fun and a work-out; neither one of us are concerned about how we place in the standings, nor are we concerned about the age category we get placed in (I’m 40, Jessica is 27, age of third runner is unimportant). I have adventure-racing experience, and have done this race in three previous years, so I’ll be looking after navigation (thus navigation skills are not required of our third teammate).
